About the Cards

Feelings are our body-mind responses to life. They signal how we are about what’s going on at any moment in time. Mostly, they come as split-second events, moments of surprise, pleasure, anger, relief, happiness. Sometimes they last and become attitudes, patterns that dominate our lives.

We have many words for what we feel - hundreds, even thousands! The Feeling Cards present 64, clustered into eight natural families, and organized into opposites. The picture shows two families (Joy and Grief). The chart shows all the families, with more pleasant feelings on the left, and more painful feelings on the right.
